1. Best Check for .500 Linebaugh NOE 450

   I purchased an NOE 513-452-FN-AF3 gas checked bullet mold for the .500 Linebaugh.
   
   Online, I found the Sage’s Outdoors .50 LR Gator Gas Checks and ordered three thousand of them.
   
   I cast up 100 bullets and used a Lyman 450 sizer/lubricator with a Lyman Gas Check Seater attachment to seat the gas checks. The Lyman gas check seater was a great attachment as well and made seating very easy.
   
   These Gas Checks are the perfect height for the NOE bullet.
   
   I emphatically recommend the Sage’s Outdoors 50 LR Gas Checks for the NOE bullet in the 500 Linebaugh.
   
   24.0 grains of Accurate #9/ CCI 350 LR Magnum primer and the NOE 452 results in 1428 fps in a .500 Linebaugh conversion Marlin SBL 16” lever action. Same load with 24.0 grains of H-110 chronographs 1220 fps.

   I use this on my commercial 50BMG powder coated bullets. Long enough to easily tap onto the bullets. Stays put after sizing. Very easy to work with.

3. Everything Works

   I put these on Lee's 440 grain bullets from their mold. Ran it through Lee's sizer and everything fits.
   
   So far, so good.
