The checks are sold in resealable clear plastic bags. Made from Litho plate. They are made to wrap around plain base bullets without a gas check shank. We recommend sizing these on base first.

If you bevel the base , installment of the gas check is easy. Good way to put a gas check on a plain base bullet.

I had to bevel the bottom of the 45 cal bullets i was putting the gas checks on, after a little trial and error they work great.

These plain base gas checks are the coolest things since metallic cartridge cases. Getting them on requires a bit of TLC since they are thin and the bullets weren't designed for them. But the results are amazing. No lead on the bore even when pushed hard. Velocity I never dreamed of AND good accuracy.
