.015 Copper .30 Caliber Gas Checks Are Available Again!
This is a new run of .015 thick 110 copper alloy .30 caliber gas checks from a small batch of metal we got at a good price.
Made for a normal .284 shank. They size very nice at .309 to .312 and were optimized for Lee bullet molds. The checks are sold in resealable clear plastic bags. USPS flat rates and Ground Advantage rates are used to reduce shipping cost.
Sold in 3 quantities: 250 for $10.50, 500 for $19.00, and 1000 are only $36.00.

Gas checks when none could be found

Several weeks ago I realized I was nearing the end of my 30 caliber gas check supply. I hit the internet and couldn't find the darn things anywhere so I did a search for "gas checks for sale" and found Sage's Outdoors who had the needed items and at a great price. This last weekend I cast and gas checked 400 or so 160g bullets and they cam out great, Thanks again. Jim

I would said these are not quite as good as hornaday brand but they are not any where near as expensive. For the value these can not be beat period. I will buy them again and would recommend them to anyone. I have been reloading and making my own bullets since 1980.

Sage's checks are top notch all the way

I have been using Sage's copper gas checks right beside gator gas checks and have found I like Sage's checks a little better , it seams they size on smother with less spring back . It's nice to simply apply a gas check and run it through the sizer without the need of annealing them in advance . GOOD STUFF By the way service is always top notch , they are always glad to get back to you helping in any way they can .

I've used the other main name brand copper gas checks on my cast 170 grain 30-30 boolits and 100 grain 30 carbine boolits, however, Sage's install the easiest. I also like the smaller package sizes since I only reload a few hundred per year of both 30-30 and 30 carbine combined. I really enjoyed the price savings too !
