I have just sized and lubed some 320 grain 44 out of lyman mould and of course checked with Sages Al gas checks...am looking forward to shootin these out of my newly built Ruger No. 1 that I rebarrelled to 444 marlin! I think they will be perfect to keep leading down. The checks went on picture perfect and I can't move them at all! Thanks Sages Outdoors

Perfect fitting and easy to apply. Using the Lee sizing die and punching from below each check applied straight and tight.

I use the .44 gas checks for my Lyman 429215 molds. They are uniform and hold on tight when sized in a Lee size. I powder coat my bullets as they are fired out of a rifle and the accuracy at 100 yards is great.
My recovered bullets show that the gas check does come off. I suspect this happens on impact with the dirt as the accuracy has never deteriorated.

Shot these at targets backed by a dirt bank. Dug a few out. GAS CHECKS still clamped on tight. Would buy these before any other.
